Pelican are an instrumental post-rock/post-metal band that hail from Chicago, Illinois. Their sound is reminiscent of some of the genre's most influential bands, such as Isis, Neurosis, Red Sparowes and Russian Circles. The band has released four full length albums and four EP's, with the well-received What We All Come To Need
(2009) being their most recent work.
